Meet Chris Michels, our VP of Franchise Sales & Development at Black Optix Tint. Hailing from Minneapolis, MN, Chris boasts a robust background in business development, retail operations, franchise development, and technical sales training. With a BS degree in Mass Communications and a career that includes working for renowned companies like NETGEAR & Best Buy, Chris brings a wealth of experience and expertise to our team. His leadership is set to propel our franchise growth to new heights.

When you think of an immediate impact look no further than our Shop Manager of our Short Pump, VA location and National Tint/PPF trainer, Trevor Duff! Trevor helped open the doors day one at our Short Pump location in 2021 and the rest is history! This location broke the record for most gross sales in its first year with his help, $500,000!! Trevor was born and raised in Richmond, VA. Before working at Black Optix Tint he was a pharmacy technician while pursuing a bachelor’s degree in health science. He originally started at Black Optix Tint as a helper for a part time job and quickly developed into his role today ultimately changing his career path and never looking back! When asking Trevor what made him choose Black Optix Tint he responded, “I could see the growth that the company allowed and the opportunities that were presented to further help me succeed and decided it was what I wanted to pursue!” Trevor then added “It is a career in which I love to do, the close niche staff and everyday changing tasks keep me thriving for greatness. I’ve always been interested in vehicle modifications which keeps me passionate working in the industry.” When Trevor is not helping push the store to new heights or train new hires within the franchise you will see him outdoors! He loves to travel, camp, hike, and snowboard! He will often take his dog, Fasa on trips with him!
