The percentage is how much visible light the film lets through: 70% is a light film that cuts heat and glare without changing the look, 35% is a noticeable darkening, and 5% is the darkest, often called limo tint. Tint percentages explained

Most vehicles are finished in 1 hour or less depending on the number of windows and the type of film. You can wait at the shop or drop off and pick up the same day.
Ceramic film uses nano-ceramic technology to block more heat and UV rays without interfering with electronics or visibility. Regular dyed film is more affordable but doesn’t reject as much heat. Our in-store heat-lamp demo lets you feel the difference side by side.
Yes. We offer residential and commercial window tinting for energy efficiency, glare reduction, UV protection, and privacy. We’ll assess your space and recommend the right film for your goals.
Tint laws vary by state and even by vehicle window. Your local Black Optix Tint technician knows the regulations in your area and will help you choose a tint level that’s compliant and looks great.
PPF is a clear, self-healing film applied to your vehicle’s paint. It absorbs impact from rock chips, road debris, and minor scratches so your paint stays clean and damage-free. Most PPF carries a warranty of 5–10 years.
Every window tint install is covered by a warranty. Standard coverage is 2 years on Optix Excel, 3 years on Optix Extreme, and lifetime on our ceramic films, Optix Extreme IR and Supreme IR; some shops set their own terms. PPF and ceramic coatings carry their own product warranties. Ask your local shop for the full details on coverage.
