WINDOW FILM CARE INSTRUCTIONS

IN ORDER TO KEEP YOUR WINDOW FILM LOOKING GOOD AND TO MAINTAIN WARRANTY COVERAGE PLEASE FOLLOW THESE CARE

INSTRUCTIONS:

Your new film will take two to three weeks to fully cure. After installation a hazy or cloudy look may appear, this appearance is caused by moisture used during application. After the moisture dries out the haze will disappear and the film will bond clearly to glass offering you many years of product performance.
Allow film to cure for seven days before lowering the windows.
To ensure a long life and maximum serviceability do not wash the windows for 30 days.
When cleaning use a soft cloth or clean synthetic sponge. Common cleaning solutions which do not contain abrasive material may be used. Do not use abrasive pads/ cleansers or ammonia products.

Meet Chris Michels, our VP of Franchise Sales & Development at Black Optix Tint. Hailing from Minneapolis, MN, Chris boasts a robust background in business development, retail operations, franchise development, and technical sales training. With a BS degree in Mass Communications and a career that includes working for renowned companies like NETGEAR & Best Buy, Chris brings a wealth of experience and expertise to our team. His leadership is set to propel our franchise growth to new heights.

When you think of an immediate impact look no further than our Shop Manager of our Short Pump, VA location and National Tint/PPF trainer, Trevor Duff! Trevor helped open the doors day one at our Short Pump location in 2021 and the rest is history! This location broke the record for most gross sales in its first year with his help, $500,000!! Trevor was born and raised in Richmond, VA. Before working at Black Optix Tint he was a pharmacy technician while pursuing a bachelor’s degree in health science. He originally started at Black Optix Tint as a helper for a part time job and quickly developed into his role today ultimately changing his career path and never looking back! When asking Trevor what made him choose Black Optix Tint he responded, “I could see the growth that the company allowed and the opportunities that were presented to further help me succeed and decided it was what I wanted to pursue!” Trevor then added “It is a career in which I love to do, the close niche staff and everyday changing tasks keep me thriving for greatness. I’ve always been interested in vehicle modifications which keeps me passionate working in the industry.” When Trevor is not helping push the store to new heights or train new hires within the franchise you will see him outdoors! He loves to travel, camp, hike, and snowboard! He will often take his dog, Fasa on trips with him!

When it comes to customer care our Administrative Coordinator, Donnelley, is second to none! She is originally from Richmond, VA, but currently working out of Winston-Salem, NC. Before Black Optix Tint she was a stay-at-home mom. Black Optix Tint has given her an opportunity to get back into the work force while having a healthy work-life balance. Her role is responsible for customer relations and helping with quality control of employee satisfaction within the shops. When asking her what she likes most about the franchise she stated “What I love most about Black Optix Tint is the amount of respect my team has for one another. It’s a great feeling going into work knowing the support I have from my team.” When she isn’t making sure all of our customers and staff is overwhelmingly satisfied you can find her cooking, enjoying her family time, or unwinding reading a new book!

Meet our youngest franchisee, Steven Childress. Steven is the owner of our Short Pump location, partner of our Brook Rd location, and Franchise Operations Manager. Steven found remarkable success with the franchise incredibly early on as his Short Pump location took the market by storm. The location made an instant splash in the franchise by having the highest gross sales in its first year within the franchise at $500,000. Steven is originally from Richmond, VA. He first met Randal Moore in Richmond, VA as he worked for him when Randal first brought the franchise to the area with the Boulevard location. Steven later would go to school for Physical Therapy. After beginning his career in physical therapy, he realized the itch for the auto restyling career would not go away. Steven linked up with his old friend Randal Moore and told him he wanted to open his own location. He made Randal Moore a promise “my store will one day be the best within the franchise, you have my word” and the rest is history! Although his young store is not the #1 in the franchise yet, its early growth and projected numbers are higher than others in the industry. We asked Steven what made him choose Black Optix Tint and his response was quick and simple “Randal Moore.” He stated, “I knew if I had an opportunity to work with him, I would take my life to the next level and help the growth of the franchise”. We asked what sets Black Optix Tint apart and he said “our customer service, when I was in physical therapy debating opening a location within the franchise, I noticed a flaw within the industry outside of our franchise. The flaw was customer service and I pride myself and my location on this daily” he added “Trevor (Short Pump manager) shares the same vision as me when it comes to customer care. We don’t strive to be the best auto restyling shop we strive to be the best service shop period.” We asked Steven how Black Optix Tint has positively impacted his life and he stated, “it has opened the doors not just for me, but future generations within my family, and for members of my team”. During his free time Steven enjoys spending time with his son Daxton, traveling to new places, and helping others plan/succeed in their life goals.

The man with the plan, Mike Moore is a partner within the franchise, Franchise HR and Finacial Logistics manager, Managing Member of the Myrtle Beach, SC Location, and a Franchise Operations Manager. Mike is originally from Richmond, VA later moving to Myrtle Beach, SC where he helped our CEO Randal Moore break ground on their first tint and audio shop later developing into the Black Optix Tint Franchise. Randal Moore and Mike Moore took the Grand Strand by storm and quickly became the best auto restyling store in Myrtle Beach, SC. They figured why stop there? They now share that business model across the nation! During Mike’s free time you will see him with his family, relaxing playing a round of golf, or supporting his Steelers on Sunday’s!

Meet our tint guru Marquez (Quez)! Quez is from Myrtle Beach, SC born and raised one of the few homegrown natives in the area! He began his Black Optix Tint career in the Myrtle Beach location and quickly grew into a larger role. He is now the manager of the Florence, SC location and a National Tint/PPF Trainer within the franchise! Quez is the ultimate team player and always ready when his number is called! He has shared his knowledge with new hires within the franchise and helped their growth. His drive and dedication separate him from others. Quez has a goal of one day opening his own location! Black Optix Tint has helped him further develop his career while increasing his finacial state at the young age of 23! On his down time Quez loves sports, gaming, and always up to learning something new.

When you talk about dedication within the company you instantly think of Coby Movahedi. He is the Shop Manager of the Myrtle Beach, SC location, the first store within the franchise & Franchise Operations Manager. Originally Coby is from Sacramento, CA then relocating to Myrtle Beach, SC. Before Black Optix Tint Coby Movahedi was an astrophysicist hence his love for installing starlight headliners! When asking Coby what made him choose Black Optix Tint he raved about his passion for vehicles and car audio. “I’ve always had a niche for car audio and learning new things” following up on that we asked him what he thinks sets Black Optix Tint apart and he stated, “The franchises combined experience and knowledge of the industry combined with the passion of everyone on our team.” When Coby isn’t in the shop or helping the franchise grow you will see him relaxing playing a round of golf or supporting his J-E-T-S JETS, JETS, JETS on Sunday’s!

Meet Kent Adams, partner Black Optix Tint Franchising, Franchise Development & Operations Specialist. Kent grew up in Fredericksburg, VA, later moving to Midlothian, VA where he became connected with our franchise CEO Randal Moore. Before Black Optix Tint Kent has been involved in his own franchise ownership in various fields. He has 30+ years in franchise development, ownership, and consulting. Most impressively, Kent is a top 1% producer as a business broker and M&A advisor. As the franchise grew adding Kent as a partner was a no brainer! When we asked Kent what made him choose Black Optix Tint his answer was simple “I got involved with Black Optix Tint because I have had a lifelong goal of owning and developing a top-notch franchisor operation. With Randal and Black Optix Tint, I now have the perfect business partner and brand.” Adding to it Kent stated, “The auto tinting and restyling industry is very fragmented, and I feel we bring a high level of professionalism and consistency to this market.” When asked what sets Black Optix Tint apart. Everyone meet our Franchise CEO Randal Moore!
Randal grew up in rough lower income areas around Richmond, VA and later moved to Myrtle Beach, SC with his mom and younger brother looking for a better life. He went to school and began his business career by opening his first auto restyling shop in Myrtle Beach, SC. Randal also obtained his real estate license which he thought would be his actual career. This was a key highlight of his business and industry knowledge. Randal found his success in the Myrtle Beach market quickly become the #1 tint and audio shop in the Grand Strand. In 2014 Randal decided he wanted to open the 1st Black Optix Tint store in his hometown of Richmond VA, it quickly became the#1 tint shop in the area. The business model spread like wildfire and developed into the multimillion-dollar franchise you see today, all started by our CEO! When we met with Randal, we asked him what would set Black Optix Tint apart from other tint and audio companies. His answer was superb “we will separate ourselves with a proven business model centered around customer care.
